You do something stupid, you forget to put the park brake on, result? Loader rolls into old shack containing mineral and tons of nostalgia. You are carrying bales through Pen 2 and you run over someones calf… Twice… Your sister gets you run over by a phsyco 600 pounder, you almost kill the cutest runty calf by catching it the wrong way in the squeeze, you get the tractor stuck, in a freshly drained beaver pond…the list is endless! But one thing I have learned is you just gotta learn to laugh at your mistakes. No one is perfect, ya i mess up and up in embarrassing situations, just gotta laugh. Another thing I have learned is that I am a mega people pleaser. Knowing that my boss or sibs think Ive done a good job just sends me to cloud 9. Which usually is about the time I get stuck in the beaver pond… Or run over a calf. Oooppss… Then there is God reminding me ‘Do I havveee to tell you again….? Silly girl, dont do it for people, do it for me. I am your daddy, please do it for me.’
Colossians 3:23- whatever you do, work at it with your whole heart, as working for the Lord, not for man.
So as I am sitting here waiting for the sis to get back with the feed wagon so I can load her again… Woops here she is. Brb. Im back… Where was I… Oh yes! Everyday, all day; i have to remember ‘ok, lets do this for God!’ and if i make a mistake its not the end of the world. The past is the past the future is the future today is a gift thats why they call it the present. :) tootles peeps or… Peep.

So life with God is supposed to be exciting right!? Crazy Adventurous right!? But this morning i found myself sitting on a church pew observing a very solumn, a very con-ser-vat-ive service. Why do we as Gods children have to hide behind our hymnals and mumble words to the songs? The Bible says make a JOYFULL NOISE! Not a ‘… Joy… Mumblemumble noise…’ . Guess what!!! It doesnt have to be that way! COME ON PEOPLE lets SING our hearts out to the Maker of heaven and earth! Lets clap! Lets shout! And OH MY GOSH LETS DANCE! JESUS LOVES US! LETS RETURN THAT LOVE! Lets get the electric geeetars out and the bass and the drummsss and lets have a rock concert right there and rock the peoples baptist roots! Ok well maybe im being a bit extreme (just a bit) but yeah… Lets Love the Lord our God with ALL our soul and ALL our hearts and with ALL our minds ALL THE TIME.
